Humvee Airdrop From C-17 – This Is How The US Army Does It!

What you see here is a spectacular video, showing a training airdrop of eight Humvee vehicles by a US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III transport plane. The Humvee airdrop was executed in late May during the Crescent Reach annual exercise at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The Humvees were parachuted from 5,000 feet (1,500 meters) by airmen of the 16th Airlift Squadron, normally based at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.

This impressive video shows the flawlessness and pure efficiency of the United States Air Force. From the ratchet straps to balancing the load on the plane, this exercise is everything but simple. Everything has to be carefully calculated and placed, one mistake and the whole thing could be a tremendous disaster.

Check it out!
